About the Presenter
Dr. Bridget Taylor is co-founder and Executive Director of Alpine Learning Group and the Senior Clinical Advisor for rethink autism. Dr. Taylor holds a Doctorate of Psychology from Rutgers University, and received her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education from Columbia University. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Psychologist. Dr. Taylor is active in the autism research community and has published numerous articles on effective interventions for autism. She serves on a number of editorial boards and is a board member of the Association for Science in Autism Treatment.
About the Workshop
For over 20 years, through an extensive practice in teaching children with autism, Dr. Bridget Taylor has focused on issues of great importance in contemporary ABA practice. This presentation will target core skills such as joint attention, observational learning, and play. In addition, Dr. Taylor will present strategies on increasing the motivation of children with ASD to engage with others. Videotaped examples and data-based outcomes will be used to illustrate both teaching procedures and essential social skills to target.

This workshop is the first of a special two-day event, Contemporary Solutions to Promoting Meaningful Inclusion – Across the Lifespan featuring two leading practitioners in contemporary autism treatment with a focus on advances in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) - Dr. Bridget Taylor on Friday March 26, and Dr. Peter Gerhardt on Saturday March 27th.
