ACT Thanks the Richard Brodeur Celebrity Classic!
By Clair Schuman, Executive Director, ACT – Autism Community Training

Combine a hot August day at a beautiful golf course with 155 enthusiastic golfers, a fabulous team of organizers and volunteers, generous sponsors and donors and you have the Richard Brodeur Celebrity Golf Classic!

August 4th, 2005 was a terrific day at the Meadow Gardens Golf and Country Club in Pitt Meadows.

As a beneficiary of the event, ACT thanks Richard Brodeur, Steve Cowl, Phil Adams and Krista Kehl and all who participated for their tremendous work in hosting this event. We particularly appreciate the thoughtfulness

Richard Brodeur Golfing

of Meridee and Bert Beaudry, parents of a child with ASD, for recommending ACT as a recipient.

Funds raised for ACT will be used for a bursary fund for low-income families requiring help to cover registration costs for ACT workshops.  ACT recognizes the vital importance of empowering parents across BC with the information they need to better understand and plan intervention for their children.
