Having Problems Claiming Medical Expense with Revenue Canada?

Doug Querns, parent of two children with ASD and a Certified General Accountant, is interested in hearing from parents who have had difficulties with Revenue Canada in claiming medical expense tax credits for their children with ASD.
If anyone currently has an issue with either their 2003 or 2004 tax return, with respect to medical claims, Doug would like to hear from you. Doug is in discussions
on this topic with a prominent tax lawyer who may be able to offer some collective advice, once Doug gathers information from a number of concerned families. Apparently not all employees in the audit department of CCRA are necessarily current with all of the tax changes that impact on
our families.
Doug is also considering offering some assistance in establishing
a template for future income tax claims for medical expense tax credits and would appreciate
your input.
