The BC Digital Divide Foundation brings Free Computers to Families Who Need Them
Digital Divide is a non-profit volunteer run organization devoted to giving every person, especially children, an equal opportunity to achieving greatness in an increasingly technological world. The focus of Digital Divide is to help people bridge the proverbial "digitaldivide" through a free computer and assistance with access to the internet. Their goal is Their mission is to provide people, especially children, with assistance in obtaining a free computer. They also focus on providing children from
low-income families with educational and vocational opportunities to which they would not normally
have access. |

|
They want families with children, who normally couldn't afford to buy a computer on their own, to contact them. If this describes you or someone you know then please send an email to YVRDigitalDivide@gmail.com Tell them a little bit about yourself, your children, and what kinds of things you think they would use the computer for. It may take them a little while to get back to you but please know that many people in their organization are working hard to put a computer in front of every needy child in the Greater Vancouver area.
