In November 2009, the Ministry of Children and Family Development released a revised guide entitled "Parent's Handbook: Your Guide to Autism Programs" (other languages). This handbook provides useful information about diagnosis and assessment, intervention services and the funding process. This booklet also includes information on the various funding payment options available, as well as which expenses are eligible for autism funding. If you have questions regarding eligible expenses you may contact MCFD directly at 1 (877) 777-3530.
The Ministry of Children and Family Development has created a PowerPoint presentation that outlines key aspects of the Invoice Payment funding method, and explains how to use the Invoice Payment forms. The PowerPoint addresses many common questions, and will be helpful both to families who are currently on Invoice Payment, and those who are transitioning to Invoice Payment.
